Working with Sherry has been one of my all-time best health decisions ever. In a short time I've gone from almost zero training knowledge and experience to feeling bold and confident. Sherry is extremely knowledgeable and a very competent teacher. She was able to explain exercises and help me work on my form.

In the past I've felt generally uncoordinated, but I now feel confident and strong, in the gym and everywhere. I've reached and exceeded my training goals. Besides guiding me through our training sessions, Sherry has set me on a trajectory of effective exercise that I plan to carry on for the rest of my life.

While I used to try to train on my own, I did not realize how much I was missing. I thought that I lacked motivation, but more importantly, I lacked knowledge and a good foundation for effective weight training.

I have been training with Sherry 2-3x/week since 2014. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent an extensive 12 hour surgery for mastectomy and reconstruction, and was told by my dr I could not begin lifting again for 12 weeks. After my 6 week post-op appointment I was told I was being released early and could begin training again at 8 weeks! My dr was astounded by the speed of my recovery and I, along with many others, attribute it to my training I was doing prior to surgery.

I have been back training with Sherry since April and, although slower than I would like to be, am slowly gaining strength and more importantly the range of motion I had prior to my extensive surgery. I would strongly encourage anyone, regardless of their health limitations, to consider hiring Sherry as your personal trainer. She is extremely knowledgeable, will go the extra mile to research the best way to assist you based on your particular circumstances and goals, and is extremely reliable.

Training with Sherry is always the highlight of my week. To anyone looking to increase strength, mobility, and quality of life, I wholeheartedly recommend her as a personal trainer and fitness coach.

Sherry is wholeheartedly dedicated to her clients and profession, and an absolute pleasure to work with. If you’re looking for a trainer to be honest with you about your performance, and how much work it will take to meet your fitness goals, she will give it to you straight and tell you what you need to hear. I appreciate her direct, no-nonsense approach to training and communication. When it comes to communicating outside the gym, her responses are always prompt and easy to understand. She organizes her clients’ remote and in-person programming on a virtual cloud service in a way which makes it easy for clients to know what they’ve accomplished so far and what’s coming down the pipe.

Several of my proudest accomplishments while training with Sherry include: increasing my unassisted pull-up count from 2 to 9, bench-pressing more than my body-weight, performing heavy squats without knee or back pain, and leaning out from an average 145lbs to an average 138lbs with a noticeable increase in muscle mass.

I came to Sherry with an extremely tight lower back, and I’m happy to say that in all my time training with her, I have not suffered a single injury. Sherry designs her programs to push you to perform, but always at a level your body can handle. I love the days I get to move a lot of weight, but if my body acted up, I could count on her to incorporate alternative mobility movements instead of pushing me into potentially dangerous movements. I’m also happy to say that almost a year later, I am experiencing little to no back pain during our strength training sessions!

Training with Sherry has hands-down been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
